Lounge experience app

Modernized the architecture of the Travel & Lifestyle app that premium cardmembers use for lounge access. I split it into Swift packages for feature-wise delivery, moved it to SwiftUI and structured concurrency, and hardened it with Keychain storage, SSL pinning and real-time updates over Server-Sent Events.

Secure Access SDK

Delivered authentication features for the SDK behind HSBC's mobile sign-in, used in 25+ countries by more than 10M people a month. I built QR authentication from scratch, broke the monolithic SDK into reusable components, and ran security scans on every release.

  1. Lead Software Engineer, EPAM Systems

    HEAD

    Jun 2024 to present, Bengaluru

    • Modularized the whole app with Swift Package Manager for feature-wise delivery, shaping the architecture strategy with the Director of Engineering.
    • Led the phased move to a REST backend by decoupling business logic from Core Data and Parse, and migrated critical Objective-C modules to Swift.
    • Designed the CI/CD pipeline and PR governance with Danger, SwiftLint and automated coverage thresholds.
    • Improved stability through performance profiling and crash-log analysis.
    • Resource manager for a group of engineers: 1:1s, goal setting, performance reviews and career growth.

  2. Technical Lead, Globant

    Sep 2020 to Jun 2024, Pune

    • Led developers on the SDK platform team and delivered QR authentication from scratch.
    • Decomposed a monolithic SDK into reusable, scalable components and wrote the architecture assessment paper.
    • Raised unit and UI test coverage above 90%, with SonarQube reporting from the Xcode CLI.
    • Owned release management, regression tracking, SAST and MAST scans, and App Center build automation.
    • Interview panelist, onboarding trainer and mentor for new joiners.
